New Camera!!
We finally broke down and got a GOOD camera! I'm so excited! Get ready for lots of pictures as I'm learning how to adjust things like shutter speed and ISO.

Life...
I thought I'd take a moment to talk about what was new with each of the kids. I want to keep a better record of what is going on with them than I have been. Sometimes life can be too busy to remember to write it all down.
Regan is doing pretty good in school. He can tell us 17 different letters knows the numbers 0-10 on paper, knows all the shapes and colors. He can read us very simple sentences. His speech is still improving but it still very delayed. He loves PE and will come home and demonstrate jumping jacks and arm circles. He is very interested in basketball so we are guessing that he plays alot at school. My one concern is that he wants to stand under the goal and watch the ball come through the hoop! His teacher and aide tell us about how sweet he is, I would like to see more of that at home! He can be too aggressive with Kollyn and wants to be the boss of him. He loves his Karly and she is the first thing he says in the mornings. Potty training is still a work in progress. He does really well for a few weeks and then we go right back. He is going to play ball again this year. We hope that it is better than last year. My one concern is him getting sick out in the weather. Last year with it still being cold and wet he got sick and it turned into pneumonia. We hope that he "gets" it a little more this year since we have been working with him but who knows what will happen. Regan usually does exactly what Regan wants even if we don't agree with him!!
Kollyn, oh sweet goodness! This boy is a mess!! He finally has five teeth and weighs about 24pounds. His favorite things to do right now are push his sisters baby doll stroller around and cause a mess. I tell everyone that he is my tornado and it fits him so well. He loves cows and dogs! He eats EVERYTHING and that is a wonderful thing!! He is just a joy to watch and play with. He is interested in cooking and taking his sisters paci! He can count to three and knows stars and hearts. He knows the letter K and G. He uses 30 words and some two and three word phrases. He amazes us every day with new words and tricks. He loves his blankie and wants to hold it when he goes to bed. He is a homebody and loves his bed!! He calls Karly "get up" and sometimes Karkey!
My Karly! She is 4months old now!! Can you believe it!! She weighs right at 13 lbs! She is such a girly girl already! She doesn't want to be played with too rough and is quick to let us know when she doesn't like something. She rolls both ways and is working on sitting up. She sleeps all night and has for about 2 months. She drools a lot. She likes snuggling and being swaddled at nap and bed times. She is great in the car unless we are in the car rider line waiting on Regan and then she is MAD! She is her mommy's dream come true!!

Menu
This week our menu will be about the same as always. We are so stuck in a food routine. I'm working on changing things but just haven't done it this week.
Sunday~ Veggie soup (recipe below)
Monday~ Red beans and rice with turkey sausage
Tuesday~ Taco Salad
Wednesday~Pork Chops, broccoli and cheese, black eyed peas
Thursday~ Taco Fiesta Soup
Friday~ ??? Out to eat???
Ricky's Veggie soup
1 family size tomato soup
1 reg can beef broth ~ we use the low sodium
1 can diced tomato with diced onions
1 bag frozen vegetables
1lb hamburger meat browned and drained
Mix it all together and simmer for about 30mins! Super easy and supper yummy! It's even better the next day for lunch. :)

2010 recap better late than never
I was reading some blogs last night and came across some questions to recap 2010,here we go!!
What did you do in 2010 that you had never done before?
I had a c-section! It wasn't horrible but I can say it takes something away from the birthing experience. I don't really get that "I did it" feeling. Maybe if I hadn't had my tubes tied and had to be "knocked out" after she was born I would feel different. But I only saw Karly for a few seconds and then she was taken out to the nursery and I didn't see her for about 2hours!!
What would you like to have in 2011 that you didn't in 2011?
More time with friends. I don't see many people being home and we don't get out with friends much because not many friends have kids. I'm hoping to change that this year!
What was your biggest failure?
I really feel like a couple of things were failures this year. I feel like the kids didn't get the best of me. I needed to be more positive with them I got too aggravated to fast over too much. Ricky didn't get the best wife. Lots of days of him coming home to a mess of a house, no supper cooked and the kids and I ill. That isn't the kind of home I would want to come home to and so I'm working on making it a more positive place.
Did you suffer illness or injury?
Ha! I had major kidney problems while pregnant, gallstone issues while pregnant, had a baby. Four weeks after having a baby had to have emergency surgery to remove that lovely gallbladder. It was a very busy medical year for our little family!
The best thing you bought in 2010?
Umm a new car? Lots of pink clothes? I have no idea!
What was your favorite TV program?
Parenthood!! It's a great show that hits home for us alot!!
What was the best book you read?
Title I'm not sure but I read lots of books by Mary Higgins Clark
What was your greatest music discovery?
I think I discovered Pandora music in 2010 if not then we will just pretend I did!
What was the best moment?
Umm do I really have to say it.................Karly!!
The last question was about what would you like to change this year.................maybe not to procrastinate and take 23+ days to fill out a quiz about the previous year!! :)

New Year~New Flu
